Manuel is a MEng with 31 years’ experience in the construction industry, concessions business and service sector for multinational companies in both his native Spain and internationally.
Manuel has extensive knowledge of the entire construction business from tendering and negotiation, to the setting up of joint ventures and consortia, the logistical challenges of establishing sites abroad, and the management of projects through to their successful completion.
He is also experienced in the leadership and coordination of teams, tasked with identifying, evaluating and negotiating the acquisition of companies in Latin America and Central Europe and with the incorporation of these subsidiaries, both locally and internationally, overseeing their management and strategic planning, resource optimisation and the extension of their markets locally and beyond national borders.
Manuel has served as Chairman of the Management Board of a large construction and precast concrete group in Eastern Europe and also as international director and Board member of foreign subsidiaries to a leading Spanish contractor, overseeing teams working on the preparation of tenders, feasibility studies, investment proposals, and project and maintenance budgets for concession projects.
